The GFS shows some snow for the DC area on Thursday(7PM Wednesday-1PM Thursday). Although it is too early to specify details, it is definitely something to watch. The GFS shows temps hovering in the low 30's, so there would probably be mixed rain/snow if this system plays out like the GFS says. However, the March sun angle would probably melt some snow, so snow rates would have to be moderate to heavy for the snow to accumulate. The GFS shows heavy snow rates at around 1AM Thursday. This system is definitely something to watch. The highest snow totals will be north and west of MoCo(Allegany County).
