Sunday Threat

As many of you know, it's supposed to snow this Sunday. How much is still slightly unclear because of where the snow and rain line is. The news channels have come up with their first and second calls.
NWS: Coating-8 inches for MoCo

This storm is tricky. If the highest snow totals go down to MoCo, MoCo could get 6-8 inches of snow and a Winter Storm Warning for all of MoCo. If the snow totals shift more north, we would have no snow and the worst cold rain ever (33 degrees cold rain). As you can see, NBC 4 and ABC 7 are going light on the snowfall because the rain and snow line is uncertain. They don't know precisely where the rain line separates from the snow line. They know it will stay mostly, if not all snow north and west(Damascus, Hagerstown). It will remain mostly rain for southern Maryland(La Plata, Lexington Park). But they don't know if the snow will move more south and give MoCo more snow or if the rain will move more north and give us mostly rain and little snow. It has to be more than these totals the news channels are throwing out, in my opinion, to close schools because of MCPS being harsh on these decisions. "City, St" or ZIP code" or the "Customize Your Weather.gov" box. Then when you have found your location(if you type in the "customize your weather.gov"), press the "Get Detailed info" and read "Sunday" and "Sunday Night".
