Snow Threat on November 11-12 Information

Yes, most of the models agree that there will be at least some snow tomorrow. Rain showers will be changing into snow as temps drops, so we will probably see some mix with the snow. In terms of accumulations, I expect no accumulations in our county, and even if there are accumulations, the most is 0.1 inches(a coating), and the accumulations will be on the rooftops or grass. Do not expect much impact from this storm. It is November, the winter forecasts don't predict anything for November! We still have December-March for some good snow events. Anyways, it is a half day in MoCo, so you already are skipping a part of school(2.5 hours). If anything changes, I will keep you updated. Here is what the NWS thinks about the chances of getting a coating of snow(less than 50 percent):

The chances of getting just a coating is extremely low as well. I will say that this is a flurries event because of this map.

UPDATE(4:00 PM): It is snowing in Gaithersburg right now. No mixing and coming down lightly. Somewhat sticking to the deck and grass. Starting to fall to the ground a little faster(wind helps). It ended abruptly at 4:05.

WARNING: Beware of my post of winter forecasts that are coming soon, because WUSA 9 and FOX 5 have already released theirs! Want a sneak peek of the forecasts?
