Thankfully, what would have been a catastrophic ice storm has now turned into a mostly rain event. Some mixing is possible in Northern MoCo and is likely in places like Damascus and Mt. Airy, but even for them, it should just be mostly rain. Wintry mix accumulation is possible there though. There is another threat coming up on Thursday-Friday, and that one is trending colder and better for snow lovers, and will likely be more significant if this threat materializes than the Tuesday storm. I'll give you an update later this afternoon on it, including the Tuesday storm. (And yes I knew about the advisory for Northern MoCo yesterday, I couldn't write about it because of other work I had. It wouldn't amount to much, only a glaze anyways.)
