There is a chance for some spotty freezing rain tomorrow morning. If we were to see some, the most we would have is a glaze of ice. There is a special weather statement for the entire county, including our neighboring counties. This won't have too much of an impact, however with the colder temps recently, this ice can make roads and untreated surfaces slick. If you have to run any errands or do something tomorrow morning, take caution and do them. This won't and shouldn't disrupt any plans. However, we are watching a bigger threat on Wednesday-Friday that if materialized could cause disruptions. A new post will be coming shortly.

...POTENTIAL WINTER COMMUTING HAZARD FOR THE WASHINGTON AND
FREDERICKSBURG METROPOLITAN AREAS TUESDAY MORNING...
There is a potential for hazardous commuting conditions for the
Tuesday morning commute. A period of light freezing rain is
POSSIBLE (a 30 percent chance) Tuesday morning across the
Washington and Fredericksburg Metropolitan areas. A light glaze of
ice is possible on area roads.
If this threat does materialize during the Tuesday morning rush-
hour, many roads could quickly turn icy. This could lead to
dangerous traveling conditions, multiple accidents, and extensive
delays.
If commuting Tuesday morning, be aware of the POSSIBILITY of
significant travel disruptions. Plan ahead by allowing for extra
travel time, and consider using telework options.
Stay tuned for updates on this potential winter weather episode."
